VAKKI Publications is a peer-reviewed open access journal with Publication Forum level 1. Previous VAKKI Publications volumes are available at https://vakki.net/.
The journal is based on presentations on VAKKI-symposia. In addition, there are also selected edited volumes, which represent topics that are interesting for VAKKI members.
The virtual XLI VAKKI Symposium was arranged in 2021 under the theme of Workplace Communication.
This time, the VAKKI Research Association invited all participants of the XLI VAKKI Symposium to submit a proposal for an article to be included in the upcoming volume of VAKKI Publications. Notifications of acceptance were sent to the authors by end of March 2021.
Deadline for submission of full-length manuscripts (based on the accepted abstracts) is May 3, 2021.
A double blind review procedure will follow. See our VAKKI Publications guidelines 2021 for more information.

VAKKI’s policy on archiving publications in parallel repositories
After the VAKKI Publications manuscript is published by VAKKI, authors are allowed to publish their manuscript in their own university’s institutional Open Access repository or in other sites, like ResearchGate, Academia.edu or LinkedIn. In this case, the repository version is allowed to be the final article that appears in the VAKKI Publications. The link to the original article on the publication platform of VAKKI should be given. The author may publish the article as part of her/his thesis, even if the thesis is an online version.
VAKKI Publications is committed to Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Licence (CC BY-NC). This licence permits users to use, reproduce, disseminate or display the article provided that the author is attributed as the original creator and that the reuse is restricted to non-commercial purposes i.e. research or educational use. The author has the copyright but VAKKI Publications has the original copyright. When the article is used e.g. for educational or other non-commercial purposes, the user is expected to mention the author(s), the title of the publication, the name and the number of the publication series (VAKKI Publications) and URL-address. The license of the published metadata is Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal (CC0 1.0).
